REFLECTIONExperience
In the process of learning and practicing this module, I gained valuable experience from many perspectives and I really enjoyed this course. First of all, it was very novel and interesting to make and print books written and drawn by myself. Secondly, I learned a lot by trying to transform static documents into dynamic and interactive e-books. Through the polishing of every detail, whether it is the acquisition of design inspiration or the optimization of page layout, I have a deeper understanding of publishing design.
Observation
In the project practice, I observed that the combination of interactive design and traditional publishing can significantly enhance the expressiveness of content. For example, when designing 16 original illustrations, I gradually realized that maintaining consistency in style is the key to telling a good visual story. The unified colors and elements ultimately make the entire illustration series look more coherent and complete. And the font, font color and size also have a great impact on the layout. In addition, in the production of e-books, by adding dynamic effects and interactive elements, the originally static brand guidelines become more vivid and intuitive, which greatly enhances the user experience.
Finding
Through the study of this module, I deeply realized that design is not only a technical completion, but also a deep combination of creativity and logic. From a technical perspective, I have mastered the basic functions and shortcut key operations of various design software, which has greatly improved my work efficiency. From a creative perspective, every breakthrough in technical difficulties or optimization of interactive functions makes me more eager to explore design.
