We gave presentations, and I made a case study on Lay's potato chip packaging
week3
This week we showed miss the design of the Task1 box, I got some suggestions from miss, I was missing information, so I added an introduction to the product I designed and how to use it. Finally, let's use the dotted line to represent the folding of the box.
Week 4 General Feedback: coffee cup design feedback. Specific Feedback: designs is too general.
Week 5 General Feedback: coffee cup design feedback. Specific Feedback: Continue and revise the draft of the beige version
week 6
This week we got in touch with the Culinary Academy team and discussed the design needs with them. More information was obtained.
week 7
We need to make sure to the cooking team that we are using real fruit images or vector fruit images for our designs.
Week 8
We didn't have a physical class this week, we shared our sketches with the Culinary Academy members and we needed to do the combined design.
Week 9
Our group showed Miss the yogurt packaging picture. We still needed to revise the design and consult the Culinary Academy about their favorite packaging style. They liked to highlight one or two fruits and use bright colors.
Week 10
This week we presented three different designs to Miss, using vector images of coconuts and mangoes. We finally decided on the front design of the yogurt packaging, and now we need to prepare a presentation slide and finalize the overall design of the yogurt packaging.

REFLACTION

Experience

I have gained a lot of valuable experience in the packaging and product design course this semester. From product packaging design to coffee cup design, and then to the packaging project completed in cooperation with SBS College, each task is a rare experience for me. This is not only a breakthrough in design technology, but also a comprehensive cultivation of teamwork ability and presentation ability. In the design process, I learned how to combine creativity with functionality, and also deeply realized the importance of communication and feedback in teamwork. The completion of each task is both a challenge and growth.

Observation

Through practice and observation, I found that simple and fashionable designs are often more likely to stimulate customers' desire to buy. Especially when facing young consumer groups, overly complex designs can easily make people feel that the information is redundant, while clear and clean visual language can better convey brand value. At the same time, I also noticed that many successful packaging designs have one thing in common: they find a perfect balance between visual appeal and functional practicality.

Finding

Every design is a step-by-step process, and constant modification and adjustment are necessary steps to make the packaging closer to the ideal state. From the first draft to the final product, each round of optimization makes the packaging closer to the ideal.
