PROJECT 2

PRODUCTION SHOOT

In this project, we will shoot in small groups and edit independently. We are divided into two teams, "B" team and "S "team. Team B will be based on the Netflix series "Beef," while Team S will choose to reference a Japanese drama called "Silence." The goal of this assignment is to give students an in-depth understanding of the production, shooting and editing environment.

I received the video and recorded audio footage that my team shot, and I quickly imported them into Adobe Premiere and Adobe Audition for editing. In PR, I edit video clips, adjust the order and pacing, and make sure the storyline flows smoothly. At the same time, in AU, I also do audio processing.

With PR's multi-track editing capabilities, I managed to blend video and audio elements to create a work with more audio-visual impact. In AU, I dug deep into the various dimensions of sound to make the audio effects richer and more engaging.

INSTAGRAM/TIK TOK video processing

We need to provide a text description of the short video idea in the Google Slideshow template. In this slide, we need to include a short self-introduction, a detailed description of the video idea, the music chosen, and the steps to create the emotional atmosphere of the video.

First, I imported the original audio footage into After Effects and simulated the underwater sound effects by adjusting the "bass and treble". Next, I import the processed audio into Adobe Audition for audio cropping and merging.

I imported the original video into AE. Start with a video collage. Then I turn on the time remapping and shift the card point.

Then I added wiggle expressions to make the video jitter more noticeable.

I opened the 3D layer, added the camera link to the empty object, and pulled the mirror by adjusting the position zoom. Then create multiple empty objects and pull the mirror.

Reflection

The process of group video shooting and production is full of fun and challenges of teamwork. Working together, we created a fun and creative group video that showcases the unique contributions of each member.

At the same time, TikTok video production has brought me a new creative experience. By challenging TikTok short videos, I learned more efficient storytelling and creative expression techniques. TikTok video production is more personal and quick than group videos.
