FINAL PROJECT: STOP MOTION

First, I molded a strong base by kneading clay to ensure that the overall structure of the castle had a solid foundation. On the base of the base, I cut the outline of the castle with black cardstock to make it more three-dimensional.

Then, I used the professional stop-motion animation production software - "Stop Motion" to make stop-motion animation. With this software, I was able to capture the image frame by frame,

After I finished the stop-motion animation, I brought it into After Effects for further processing and added filters. And add motion blur to make the picture silkier.

Dark Night at Frozen Castle

I made a frozen themed stop-motion animation against the background of a black cardstock castle. The heroine is a lifelike figure of Princess Elsa, dressed in a heady blue dress and a transparent blue-purple cape, as if she were an ice fairy.

The story begins with the cold wind blowing in the castle. Princess Elsa smiles. With a wave of her hand, beautiful frozen snow falls in the air. The black cardstock castle looks very mysterious and magnificent against the snow. Each frame of the freeze frame shows Princess Aisha's unique magical power, ice and snow jumping between her fingertips, forming a dreamlike ice kingdom.

Reflection

In the process of making this stop-motion animation, I experienced a creative and challenging adventure, and felt the fun and achievement of stop-motion animation production.

I try to use every frame of stop-motion animation to breathe life into the scene and characters. Using filters and post-processing, I worked hard to make the image silkier and engaging to achieve the desired visual effect.
