Task 1: Prototyping

In Task 1, we will use prototyping software such as Adobe XD or Figma to create a UI design prototype for our digital project. This UI design prototype will demonstrate the layout of a digital resume, visual elements, and user interface interactions. The content of the digital resume should include personal details, education, work experience, skills, project experience and other relevant sections.

1. Research

I used Pinterest to gather some template resume images.

2. Sketch

I researched a few layouts and finally settled on this one.

3. Adobe XD

Before starting, I have gathered all the materials and information I need, including personal information, educational background, work experience, skills and project experience.

Start designing your resume layout. I create multiple art boards, each representing a different section of the resume, such as personal information, education, work experience, etc. Use text boxes and shape tools to build layouts, ensuring typography is clear and easy to read.

I fill in the text box with the personal information I collected and the contents of my resume. Choose appropriate fonts, sizes, and colors to ensure that the content is easy to read and consistent in style.

Reflection

Creating a resume with Adobe XD is an enjoyable and productive experience. In the past, creating a resume often required the use of traditional document editing software, such as Microsoft Word or Google Docs. However, Adobe XD offers a whole new approach to resume design, making the whole process more creative and engaging.
