Research 02:
2a. What is Double Exposure?
Double exposure is a photographic technique that creates a unique and artistic effect by superimposing two or more images onto the same film or sensor.
In traditional film photography, the photographer can take a picture and then reload the same film into the camera for a second exposure.
In digital photography, photographers can use image editing software to superimpose two or more images to achieve the effect of double exposure.

The double exposure technique can be used for a variety of photographic subjects, including portraits, landscapes, and abstract art.
It is capable of creating surreal, dreamy and mysterious effects that make photos imaginative and poetic.
By combining different image elements together, double exposure can express richer emotions, ideas, and stories.
This technique requires a certain amount of creativity and imagination on the part of the photographer, who needs to carefully consider factors such as the composition, light and color of the image to achieve the desired effect.
Photographers can use character contours, scene textures or special background elements to create unique double exposure effects.
In general, double exposure is a creative and artistic photographic technique that has the ability to create unique and mesmerizing visual effects by superimposing different image elements.
Whether it is traditional film photography or digital photography, double exposure provides photographers with a vast creative space, allowing them to convey more emotion and meaning in their images.
2b. What is Digital Double Exposure?
Digital double exposure is a technique for creating artistic photographs that combines the double exposure concept of traditional photography with the advantages of digital photography.
In traditional photography, double exposure is when two or more different images are superimposed on the same piece of film to create a blended effect.
In digital photography, double exposure creates a stunning composite image by taking advantage of the capabilities of image editing software to merge two or more photos together.

Digital double exposure can be achieved in various ways, depending on the creative and technical level of the photographer.
A photographer can choose two photos with different themes or elements and superimpose them via image editing software.
Such combinations can produce strange, dreamy or abstract effects, giving the viewer a surreal feeling.

Digital double exposure can also be achieved by adjusting parameters such as transparency, brightness and contrast of different layers.
This technique allows the photographer to precisely control the visibility and intensity of each layer, resulting in more artistic and unique photos.

Digital double exposure is not only a technological innovation, but also a way for photographers to express their creativity and imagination.
It gives photographers more freedom and possibility, allowing them to convey deeper emotions and stories in their images.
Whether expressing fantastic landscapes, complex emotions or unique perspectives, digital double exposure provides photographers with a platform full of creativity.

In support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, Maybank organized the My TIGER Values Art and Design Competition, which focused on 17 of the 12 goals outlined by the United Nations Development Programmed.
Eradicate poverty
End hunger
Promote health
Provide quality education

Creating decent jobs and boosting economic growth
Building sustainable cities and communities
Achieve responsible consumption and production
Driving climate action
Protection of underwater life
Conservation of terrestrial life

The topic I chose for my poster is about protecting Marine life, especially sharks. I want to use a strong image to appeal to people's awareness of the protection of Marine ecosystems. At the center of the pictorial is a hunted, bleeding red shark in a Marine environment filled with Marine debris. The purpose of the image is to make people think about shark killing and ocean pollution. The red, bleeding sharks symbolize their injuries and the brutality of their killing. The depiction of Marine debris highlights the destruction of Marine ecosystems by human activities. Through such a powerful visual image, I hope to arouse the audience's sense of urgency about the conservation of Marine life. As a key member of the Marine food chain, sharks are vital to maintaining ecological balance. However, shark populations are under great threat due to overfishing and illegal hunting. At the same time, Marine litter pollution is also causing serious harm to Marine life, including sharks. The picture aims to arouse people's attention and prompt them to take action. By showing the fragility of sharks and the fragility of ecosystems, I hope viewers will think about the impact of their daily actions on Marine ecosystems. Each of us can take small actions, such as reducing plastic use, sorting waste and participating in ocean cleaning activities, to protect our common ocean home.

Mr. Martin says two lines of text is enough, lacking some legibility. So, I made some changes.

REFLACTION

Recently our course asked us to make double-exposed works using Photoshop, and I was very excited to begin this task. I decided to use my own photos and add other footage to create a unique and interesting effect. First, I chose a photo as the base image. Then I start looking for material related to the subject matter to enhance my work. I looked through various galleries and sources, looking for elements that would blend in with my photos. After some searching, I found some images of forests that gave a natural, harmonious feel. Using Photoshop's double exposure tool, I merged this footage with my photos. By adjusting the layer transparency and blending mode, I managed to create the effect. The whole work has a sense of layers, giving people a mysterious and charming feeling.
