Task 1 - Vortex practice
Everyone will get the same set of shapes to be creative.
Follow the rulebook and take on the challenge of creating unique pieces
with skill and unlimited creativity, using a variety of colors.
Use the given rules to create your own unique design.
You can rotate, copy, scale, add or subtract elements, intersect or group
them, all while using unlimited colors, gradients, and textures.
Please note that original shapes, tilts, or free transformations are not
allowed, and contouring strokes or background changes are not
allowed.
I downloaded the image that Mr. Hafeez sent us and traced the shape using
Adobe Illustrator's pen tool.

Our goal was to use the set of shapes provided to create a unique
character.

character (20/04/2023)
By using the Adobe Adobe Color app, we mastered the art of extracting
the colors of the little monsters, from which we obtained rich color
scheme presets.
Following the video instructions sent by the teacher, we successfully
completed the drawing task.

Task 1 - Exercise 2 Illustrated Type
For the illustration and visual narrative modules, we will focus on the
definitions of two words chosen using a random word generator.
This exercise is designed to emphasize the use of Adobe tools and
features to clearly express illustration typography through illustrator
design, demonstrating the meaning of selected words.
The words I produced from the picture dictionary are shade and
magic.
My Design:
"shade"
I designed the letter "S" into the shape of the branch, using a
combination of curves and lines to represent the texture of the
branch.
I used some circular and bifurcated shapes to simulate the natural
appearance of the branches.
Add some subtle concavity to the branches to enhance the realism of the
branches.
I designed the shape of the entire font to look like a peach tree to
highlight the meaning of "shade".
Use soft curves and light lines to outline the crown, creating a soft
and comfortable feel.
In addition, I added some pink peach blossom elements at the top of the
font to enhance the visual effect of the peach tree.
The four letters "hade" were designed to look like they were under a
tree.
Extend the branches of the "S" so that the hade looks like it is being
sheltered in the shade.
"magic"
I designed the entire font in color and added some twinkling star
elements between the letters to enhance the visual effect of
magic.
I want y to use different colors to create a mysterious
atmosphere.
Soft curves and decorative elements are used in the shape of the
letters to convey the sense of wonder of magic.
Consider adding some scroll decorations at the end or around the
letters to make the font look more magical and flashier.

REFLECTION
I gained a lot of valuable experience and skills while learning to use the pen tool and 3D rendering in Adobe Illustrator.
First of all, the Pen Tool is a very powerful tool that helps me create complex and precise curves and shapes.
By mastering the use of the pen tool, I was able to better draw free curves and precise paths.
Learning 3D rendering is also an exciting and fun experience.
By using Adobe Illustrator's 3D rendering capabilities, I can take my design work to a whole new dimension.
I can create realistic 3D effects that add dimension and depth to my illustrations and graphics.
However, I also encountered some challenges.
Learning to use the pen tool requires a certain amount of patience and practice, as it requires precise hand-eye coordination and mastering the control of the curve.
For 3D rendering, understanding the principles of lighting and shading and the adjustment of material properties also takes some time and practice.
But through constant trial and practice, I gradually overcame these difficulties and made progress.
